"A decent, if not memorable, experience" shrug surveyors of this "sprawling" "older" hotel with "lots of stairs" that's "an easy five-minute drive from Downtown" but "30 minutes from Hershey Park"; "very small rooms" are "comfortable" though "aesthetics and decor are so-so" and "noise from other guests is disturbing", plus "cramped" bathrooms have "no counter space"; the patio is "wonderful" but some are disgruntled that there's no indoor pool, and restaurant offerings are "limited."

Staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. The price was right and it was pretty peaceful. The grounds there seemed to be able to accommodate a lot of stuff. Overall the hotel did not overachieve, but did not let us down in anyway. ...read more

Breakfast was reasonably priced.
Hotel is old and some of the features didn't make sense.

If you don't get a room with a Sleep Number bed, you will probably not sleep well. Hotel is old and looks more like an institution. Wiring in bathroom required you to have the fan on in order to get adequate lighting at the sink but sounded like an airplane taking off. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. ...read more

Pretty good room
at a fair price.

The public computer is infected and is in a dark balcony alcove with a blinding spotlight directly over the computer screen. The bathroom is small and has no soap dish or grab bar in the shower. There is no towel rack near the shower. I had a room in the middle of a very long hallway. During a 12 day stay I never once was able to park anywhere near an entrance. I had to carry my bags a long way as the luggage caddies aren't available in this area. With a bad back this was literally a Pain. ...read more

Location
Toilet had to be flushed 4 times each time, shower went hot and cold, sleep number bed smoky.

The hotel was OK. Our bathroom was horrible. You had to flush the toilet 3 or 4 times just to get it down, the shower went hot and cold, and the sleep number bed smelled like it was on fire.

Bartenders were friendly.
Was suppose to have sleep by number bed and didn't.

Nice location, clean hotel. Bartenders were both very friendly. Restaurants close as well as other bars/pubs.
